Design, and build mechatronics systems for SHEN NONG SHI system, including actuators, sensing modules, and rapid prototypes.
Develop embedded firmware to enable communication and interaction with hardware components (micro-controllers, motor controllers, sensors).
Conduct system analysis and debugging of hardware and communication layers (e.g., UART, CAN, SPI, I2C).
Build test fixtures, verification platforms, and integration tools to support in-lab testing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with software, perception, and mechanical teams to ensure smooth system integration.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in robotic or electromechanical prototyping.
Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, Arduino) and real-time firmware development using C/C++.
Solid understanding of embedded systems, motors (DC, BLDC, servo), and sensor integration.
Proficient with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360), and experienced with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Capable of working independently and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment.
Bonus Qualifications
Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, or similar robotic frameworks
Understanding of kinematics, dynamics, or motion control algorithms.
Experience using Python for calibration, automated testing, or data logging.
Exposure to machine vision, tactile sensors, or soft robotics technologies.
Knowledge of rapid prototyping processes (e.g., PCBA prototyping, 3D printing, small-batch manufacturing).
